The Lochboisdale Mission Church was built to serve the herring fleets that would often stop over in Lochboisdale harbour during the first half of the last century. After the fleets passed into history, the church fell into disuse. After lying derelict for many years, the Free Church re-opened it in October 2002.

It's easy to find, since it overlooks the harbour. On entering Lochboisdale, look for the Royal Bank of Scotland on the right. Turn right immediately after the bank.  There is a car park and disabled access to the rear of the church.

An Caladh, Balivanich, Benbecula

Our services in Balivanich are held at An Caladh - the Home of the Caladh Trust. It's located on the East Camp, Balivanich along with the Uist Community Riding School and Tagsa Uibhist.

The East Camp is about 1 mile outside Balivanich, on the north side of the Balivanich-Grimsay road.  An Caladh is the low, grey building.  There is a car park adjacent to An Caladh and disabled access.



Free Church Manse, Lionacleit, Benbecula
Some of our Bible Studies are held at the Manse.  It is located in Lionacleit and is the double-storey red brick house on the north side of the Creagorry-Lionacleit road approx. 1/4 mile west of the junction at Creagorry and 3/4 mile east of Sgoil Lionacleit.

Grimsay Free Church, Scoitbheinn, Grimsay
The Free Church is the only church building on Grimsay and is located on the south side of the island at Scoitbheinn.

Sollas Free Church, Sollas, North Uist
The Free Church is located in the township of Malacleit, opposite a white traditional croft house which is by the shore.

Paible Free Church, Bayhead, North Uist
The Free Church in Paible is located just off the main road, about 1/4 mile north of the turning to Paible School.  We do not currently hold any services at our Paible building.
