The Free Church has been proclaiming God's Kingdom in the Uists for over 150 years.

We don't preach Religion, but the Reality of a real, life-giving relationship with God through Jesus Christ.  We believe that this Reality makes a difference.

And so our vision is to be a Church at the Heart of the Community, with the Community in its Heart.

There are two Free Church congregations in the Uists:

• the South Uist and Benbecula congregation, which has meeting places in Lochboisdale (South Uist) and in Balivanich (Benbecula) and was established in 1999.
• the North Uist, Grimsay and Berneray congregation, which has meeting places in Paible (Bayhead), Grimsay and Sollas.
